We decided to get to know this mysterious girl better. From the very first minute of the meeting, it became clear that many of us succumbed to stereotypes. It happens like this: you are waiting for a ringing laugh, and a modest beauty arrives with a minimum of makeup on her face, in a closed turtleneck and jeans. Koshkina turned out to be a pleasant and thoughtful companion. About popularity, men, childhood and, of course, stereotypes, we talked with Yana in an interview for our portal.

website: Yana, what feelings does the phrase “Yes, this is a girl from the “CHOP”?

Yana Koshkina: I can say that lately I hear this phrase less and less. Do you know what I hear more often - “Ah, this is the girl from the “Voice” (in the fall of 2017, our heroine participated in “blind” auditions, and despite the fact that none of the judges turned to her, Yana put on a whole show, which both the audience and the jury remembered, - approx. site). That's serious. The next day after the broadcast, to put it mildly, I could not calmly walk down the street. I did not expect such a reaction.

website: How do you feel about this series yourself?

Y.K.: Positively! In my work, I try to enjoy the process, not just the result. That is, for me it was not just two seasons that appeared on the screen, but several months of amazing filming, communication in a friendly team. The characters of the series were mostly men, and I very easily find a common language with the opposite sex, so it was a pleasure to shoot. Moreover, we still have a general chat, in which there are about 50 people, and we communicate daily, congratulate each other on holidays, share news.

website: 2017 was a successful year for you - your popularity and demand have increased many times. Did you feel any changes in yourself?

J.K.: There have been no global changes, that's for sure. Probably because I have dreamed about it all my life and I am glad that my desires will come true. So, for example, I always wanted to work on Channel One. I remember that a few years ago I was interviewed about the TV series "CHOP". And I was asked about my favorite programs on the TNT channel. I couldn’t remember anything and honestly answered: “You know, I can name you all the programs on Channel One, but not on TNT.” Then the producers, of course, jokingly scolded me, and today we laugh, remembering that interview, but who would have thought that in three years I would be working on a dream channel!

website: You have an acting education, while we increasingly see you as a TV presenter. Do you feel less competent?

JK: I am a very self-critical person. It seems to me that in all my small acting career there was not a single project in which I would be 100% satisfied with my work. I will always find nuances that are worth fixing or doing better. The same applies to the profession of TV presenter. I learn in the process, notice mistakes and try to correct them in the future. It's nice to see that those mistakes that I made a couple of months ago have disappeared today. It is very important for me to improve, and I am sure that everything will be fine.

website: You have quite a lot of envious people and ill-wishers. Do negative comments on Instagram hurt you?

JK: At first it was very unpleasant. I cried, in tears I called my dad to calm me down. When it got to the point that people started writing unflattering comments about their parents, I started blocking such subscribers. Parents are sacred, and I will not allow anyone to offend them. And then the moment came when I just stopped responding to all this. And if I read comments today and find something impartial, it amuses me more.

website: And how do you feel about sound criticism from people you don't know?

J.K .: Most often, people write about my appearance, which I will never listen to. Everyone has their own idea of beauty. Or does someone think that if he wrote that I have a big nose (or other prominent parts of the body), then tomorrow I will go to cut it? No, no and NO. Everything suits me. And if we talk about normal, constructive criticism, it is present, but in a much smaller volume. And I listen to such an adequate opinion of people. It's important for me.

website: You touched on the topic of appearance, and I realized that I was reading comments of a different nature on your Instagram: they say that you are all so doll-like, which means that you are not natural. What do you think about it?

Y.K .: It’s easier for people to think that this or that pretty girl does not crawl out from under the surgeon’s knife than to think that she works on herself every day. It's easier to blame someone than to get up and, for example, go to the gym or go on a diet.

One of the most popular excuses of a person: “Yes, I would look even better with her money!”. For example, one of my friends likes to talk about Alla Borisovna Pugacheva. This is, of course, ridiculous. If you want to look the same, do something for it!

“It's not that expensive to buy a gym membership, it's not expensive at all, and it's even profitable to cook yourself a normal soup instead of going to McDonald's. Money certainly helps, but that's not the main thing. The main thing is your willpower and desire to become better.

Understanding why people write certain comments, I am very calm about their conclusions, what I have my own, natural, and what is not.

website: That is, there is no desire to prove the opposite?

Y.K.: Maybe a few years ago I tried to prove something, but today I understand that it is useless. Here, just a few hours ago, while the stylist was doing my hair, I went live on Instagram. Everyone immediately began to write to me that my hair was extended. The stylist could not stand it and began to prove that I have my own hair. And the subscribers do not believe her, they say that I paid her for these words.

That's the way this world works. Here they are greeted by clothes and cover. And neither I nor anyone else can change that. Let people think what they want. They don’t know me, and judging a person by photos on social networks and movie roles is a big folly. Conclusions need to be made when you are familiar with a person, you communicate with him, make friends. People think that if I played a bitch in Molodezhka, then I am like that in life. Well, that's funny!

website: Just about this: on your Instagram we see frank, sometimes defiant pictures, and now I'm talking with a modest girl with a minimum of makeup and discreet clothes. So where is the real Yana?

J.K.: It's all me. Just in everyday life (with rare exceptions), for example, I do not wear things with a deep neckline. I'm uncomfortable myself, and plus it draws too much attention. If I go out into the street in what I host the show “Kings of Plywood” and participate in photo shoots, they simply won’t understand me. Everything should be in place. When I'm going to an event, a dress code is discussed in advance, and a team of stylists and makeup artists chooses my look. And in everyday life, I try to dress in such a way that once again I don’t attract attention to myself, I go for walks and meet friends for my own pleasure.

J.K.: Honestly, the issue of choosing a dress for an event is always acute for me and my team, creative disputes arise.

“Sometimes I don’t really want to wear some kind of outfit, because I think it’s too frank, but I understand that it’s necessary. There is a certain image that you just need to accept.

No one cares if I'm comfortable or not. But, I think, over time, we will come to the point that my images will suit both me and the team.

website: Your subscribers very often write that the host of the First should not post such candid pictures on Instagram. What do you think about it yourself?

J.K.: In my opinion, I don’t post any too candid photos. If I have breasts, why not show them? And show in beautiful underwear or other outfits. If you carefully look at my Instagram, then there are not so many pictures in a swimsuit. Just because my forms are a bit prominent, they get noticed. Other stars allow themselves much more candid photos, and this does not cause such a stir. I always have everything covered.

website: How do you feel about increased attention by men?

J.K.: Very calm. It seems to me that one would have to worry and worry if they did not pay attention to you. They turn to me, I won’t prevaricate, and I like it, it’s normal.

Y.K.: A difficult question… I have a lot of requirements for men, these are not two or three qualities. Most importantly, looks don't matter to me. I love courageous, brutal, real men. Today there is a fashion for boys who look very similar to girls. These representatives of the strong half of humanity are definitely not for me. Equally important is the brain. We very often talk with dad about the fact that a man should be smart. In addition to all sorts of love adventures, I want to talk about something else, to learn something from my chosen one. I have friends with whom I can talk all night until late in the morning, because I am extremely interested.

website: Is your loved one jealous of the fans? And how do you feel about your revealing outfits, for example?

J.K.: He is very calm. I remember shooting for the cover of Maxim, and on the first day the issue came out, I brought the magazine to my man. He didn't even open it. He said: “Why should I watch this when I have already seen and know everything” (smiles). There is no jealousy - we are so busy with work that we simply do not have time for unnecessary showdowns.

website: In your career, you had two paths - acting or big sport (from an early age, Yana was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, in which she achieved high results, but with age she preferred the acting profession, - approx. site). Have you ever regretted that life turned out the way it did?

Y.K.: This is a sore subject. I still can't watch competitions rhythmic gymnastics without tears ... For me it was my favorite pastime. I think if you had not become an actress, you would have been a very good coach.

website: Perhaps a daughter will be born, and you will train her.

J.K.: Oh, I don’t know… If you go in for sports professionally, it’s very cruel. In modern sports it is impossible to do without injuries. Now everything is much tougher than even when I was doing gymnastics. Going into sports just for health is not for me. If we do, then in order to become an Olympic champion. I am a maximalist.

J.K .: Dad often says that I should have gone not to actresses, but to prosecutors.

J.K.: Yes, they betrayed me, and this experience taught me to be more careful with people. Today I have a friend with whom we have been friends for many years. We fight madly, we can not talk for a very long time, but I know that if something happens and I call her at night, she will definitely come. At least we never acted meanly towards each other.

website: Is it easy for you to make contact?

Y.K.: Not at all lately. Even my friends tell me that this is not possible. And there's nothing I can do about it.

Imagine the situation: you are sitting in a restaurant with a friend, gossiping, laughing. And then a man comes up to you and says: “Listen, I bet a thousand with a friend that you are that chick from the CHOP.” Let's go to our table, you will prove it to him, otherwise he will not believe me. So what will you do in this situation? Will you get up and go? Of course, I want to close myself from all this. Also lately I meet a lot of aggressive women, but I try not to react to it in any way. Probably, such women are not doing well in life, since they splash out their anger on others.

website: Are you a confident girl?

J.K.: Yes, and I think it came from childhood. Even then, there was a big sport in my life, constant competitions in kindergarten and then at school. I have never been shy about reading poetry, performing on stage. I think this is the merit of my mother, who took me everywhere. I'm used to being seen.

website: Did you like to study?

Y.K.: My progress depended on whether there were fees or not. If they were (and add three workouts a day to them), then performance, of course, fell. On other days, I studied perfectly well, and the teachers thought that I was cheating from someone, so they put me at the desk alone. In general, I often think about why people start going to school so early. Today, at the age of 27, I really want to study. I would love to take a history course - at the age of 10, a child does not fully understand what war is. I would gladly get new knowledge in literature, Russian language, biology. In childhood, neither teachers nor parents can fully explain to the child the importance of this knowledge.

website: Today, during the conversation, I heard the word "dad" many times. Are you daddy's girl?

Y.K.: I think so. The fact is that until the age of 15 I practically did not communicate with my father. My parents divorced when I was born, and only my mother raised me. We were very close to her, and at the age of 15 I began to communicate with my dad.

website: All the years that you didn’t communicate with your father, didn’t you feel that you were missing something?

J.K.: No, because my mother replaced my father and grandparents for me. We practically did not part. Mom is a punchy person, there were difficult times in our life, but she never allowed herself to give up. She raised two daughters - me and my older sister, worked three jobs, and she didn’t even have the thought of sending us to a boarding school or taking us to live with someone. It was my mother who pushed me everywhere, and at school, when I was expelled for academic failure due to sports, she went, negotiated, arranged me for another school. My mom got me a place at the best sports school. She sewed dresses for me, swimsuits for performances, which, by the way, were later bought from us, because they were unrealistically beautiful. And thanks to my mother, that in my childhood I did not feel a lack of attention and a lack of dad.

website: Your mom - Strong woman. Did you take that quality from her?

Y.K.: Yes, of course. I don’t consider myself a weak woman, and sometimes it bothers me. But I am who I am. Pretending to be weak is useless - sooner or later the truth will be revealed. Therefore, either my man accepts me like this, or you should not even start a relationship.

website: Are you already thinking about marriage, children? Or are you career oriented?

J. K .: I am absolutely calm about such a concept as age, and I do not rush things. I have a friend - my age, so Last year she constantly repeats with horror in her eyes that she is not married, but time is running out! Because of this, we even began to communicate with her less often, because I do not share this panic. She is obsessed with getting married as soon as possible.

Yours will come to you. My sister met her future husband at the age of 16, she was already married at 18. They have been together for many years and raise children. And someone meets their true love at the age of 40. Don't guess here. Yes, and there is no need.

“I can only say one thing - I will not give up work 100% under any circumstances. Of course, someday I will leave the profession for a while because of the child. But it won't be long."

website: I very often hear this phrase from the stars, while many only dream of sitting at home and doing nothing. What do you think is the main difference between you?

Y.K.: I talk a lot on this topic. I think the difference is that I found my business. I am a happy person, because for my favorite work, without exaggeration, I also receive money. I have never understood people who on Sunday, sitting over a glass of wine, regretfully note that they have to work tomorrow. And the expression "Monday is a hard day" is completely unfamiliar to me. It's such a joy, such happiness to run to your favorite job, get up for it at 5 o'clock in the morning, and sometimes stay up all night. Here I am. And there are people who have never worked a day in their lives and feel very comfortable in the status of a housewife, wife and mother.

This life is not for me. Of course, sometimes you get so tired that you want to send everything to hell. But as soon as you exhale, the strength to go forward immediately appears again. Today I know for sure that I will never quit my job.

A few months ago, the show "Kings of Plywood" started on Channel One. Despite the advertising, the charismatic presenter Pavel Priluchny and eminent guests, the project has not yet gained much popularity among the audience.
